- Best New Artist nominees: Olivia Dean, Katseye, The Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren and Lola Young.
- Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower” qualified under an Academy rule allowing album tracks from the prior window to be entered if they were not submitted previously and the album did not win, with overall eligibility spanning Aug. 31, 2024 to Aug. 30, 2025.
- The Academy created Best Traditional Country Album and retitled Best Country Album as Best Contemporary Country Album, while three rap albums also reached the Album of the Year field, reflecting broader genre representation ahead of the Feb. 1, 2026 ceremony at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on CBS and Paramount+.
