During his tenure at Navy, Niumatalolo led the team to 10 bowl games and six Commander-in-Chief’s Trophies.
Niumatalolo spent the 2023 season as a consultant at UCLA and was recently elevated to tight ends coach before accepting the position at San Jose State.
According to ESPN, Niumatalolo's contract with San Jose State is a five-year deal through the 2028 football season.
