Overview

  • The crash occurred just before 5 a.m. on June 7 when Joseph’s BMW collided with a motorcycle on northbound U.S. Highway 75 in Richardson, Texas, killing 27-year-old Cody Morris.
  • He called Plano police at 5:39 a.m. to report the collision and was arrested after officers observed signs of intoxication.
  • He faces a misdemeanor DWI charge and a second-degree felony count for collision involving personal injury or death.
  • He remains held under two bonds totaling $26,000, with the DC Defenders offering no further comment.
  • In March 2022, he was questioned in connection with a Dallas-area shooting but was cleared of any wrongdoing.
