Kelly Ripa, 54, underwent a striking transformation into Ariana Grande’s Glinda from the film 'Wicked' for a pre-taped segment of 'Live with Kelly and Mark's' 'After the Oscars' special.
The makeover, featuring prosthetics and detailed styling by Kristofer Buckle and Ryan Trygstad, was so convincing it initially fooled her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos, into thinking she was Grande.
Ripa’s Instagram post showcasing the transformation drew mixed reactions from fans, with some praising her likeness to Grande and others finding it unsettling.
Consuelos also dressed as Wicked’s Fiyero for the segment, which included playful reenactments of scenes from the movie embedded with clips of the couple in costume.
The 'After the Oscars' special, airing March 3, will feature interviews with Oscar winners, red carpet coverage, and a recap of the ceremony’s highlights.
