Kelly Ripa Criticized for Postpartum Body on 'All My Children' Set

Kelly Ripa, host of 'Live with Kelly and Mark', revealed on her podcast that she was criticized by the wardrobe team of 'All My Children' for not being 'smaller' just nine days after giving birth to her first child.
Ripa, who played Hayley Vaughan on 'All My Children' from 1990 to 2002, had to return to work shortly after giving birth, a situation she described as 'brutal'.
She shared that despite the support system around her, she felt isolated postpartum and struggled with body recognition.
Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, who she met on the set of 'All My Children', have three children together: Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 20.
Ripa transitioned from acting to hosting 'Live with Regis' in 2001, and Consuelos joined her as a co-host in April 2023.
