Keke Palmer hosted the 2023 BET Soul Train Awards in Los Angeles, making her first public appearance since filing a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
Palmer debuted a new honey blonde hair color and wore a little black dress by Versace on the red carpet.
Earlier this month, Palmer filed court documents alleging that Jackson was abusive and she was granted temporary sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis.
Jackson has not publicly commented on the allegations, but posted a photo of him and his son on social media with the caption, 'I love you, son. See you soon.'
The Soul Train Awards will air on November 26, featuring performances by artists such as T-Pain, Janelle Monáe, BJ the Chicago Kid, Coco Jones, Fridayy and Jermaine Dupri.
