Actress alleges domestic violence, wins temporary sole custody of son amid ongoing relationship fallout

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson met at a party in 2021 and welcomed their son, Leodis, in February 2023. Their relationship has been marked by public spats and allegations of domestic violence.
In July 2023, Jackson publicly criticized Palmer for her outfit at an Usher concert, stating it went against his 'standards and morals'. This incident led to a public fallout and they reportedly split in August 2023.
Despite their split, Palmer and Jackson were seen together on multiple occasions, leading to speculation about their relationship status. Palmer responded to inquiries by advising people to 'mind their business'.
In November 2023, Palmer filed for a temporary restraining order against Jackson, alleging multiple instances of physical violence throughout their relationship. She also requested sole custody of their son.
A day after Palmer filed the court documents, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted her temporary sole custody of Leodis and a temporary restraining order against Jackson. Jackson is currently prohibited from having visitation rights with their son.
