Overview
- Addressing AAP MLAs and councillors in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal questioned why no Gandhi family member has been jailed in the National Herald case while five senior AAP leaders were imprisoned in what he called fabricated cases.
- Kejriwal alleged the Enforcement Directorate raided Saurabh Bharadwaj’s home, deleted parts of his statement and threatened arrest when he refused to sign.
- He claimed marquee probes such as the 2G and coal cases were quietly shut, citing this as evidence of a Congress–BJP understanding.
- Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav rejected the allegations, accused Kejriwal of furthering a BJP conspiracy and noted Congress leaders have appeared before investigative agencies when summoned.
- Kejriwal said AAP would not enter compromises or alliances for power and also attacked the current Delhi administration over power cuts, school fee hikes, broken roads, clogged sewers and slum demolitions.
