  • NFL Network Insiders report that free-agent wide receiver Keenan Allen visited the Chargers on August 1 with both sides expressing interest in a reunion.
  • Allen spent his first 11 NFL seasons with the Chargers before a March 2024 trade sent him to the Chicago Bears, where he recorded 70 catches for 744 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024.
  • His potential return aims to fill the void left by Mike Williams, who surprised the team by retiring on the opening day of training camp July 17.
  • During four seasons alongside Justin Herbert, Allen produced 380 receptions for 4,125 yards and 25 touchdowns, including a 1,243-yard campaign in 2023.
