Keely Hodgkinson Ends Season Early Due to Minor Injury

Olympic 800m champion postpones world record attempt until next year after achieving all 2024 goals.

Hodgkinson announced her injury on social media, confirming no more races this year.
She had planned to compete in Diamond League meetings in Zurich and Brussels.
The 22-year-old won all nine of her 800m races in 2024, including a record-setting performance in London.
Hodgkinson aims to break the 1983 world record of 1:53.28 next year.
She will also focus on the World Championships and European Indoor Championships in 2025.
