Kedarnath Closes for Winter at 8:30 a.m. as Palanquin Begins Journey to Ukhimath

On the occasion of the closing of the temple doors, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Shri Kedarnath Dham. CM Dhami prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

  • Priests conducted overnight darshan and Samadhi Puja, sealed the sanctum at 6 a.m., and closed the main gate at 8:30 a.m. on Bhai Dooj.
  • The Panchmukhi Utsav Doli departed for Omkareshwar Temple via halts in Rampur on Thursday and Guptkashi on Friday, reaching the winter seat on October 25.
