KEC International Wins Rs 1,064 Crore Saudi Grid Contract, YTD Orders Top Rs 15,000 Crore

- KEC secured a Rs 1,064 crore contract to design, supply and install a 380 kV transmission line in Saudi Arabia.
- With this award, the company said its year-to-date order intake has crossed Rs 15,000 crore, taking October wins to Rs 3,340 crore.
- The latest deal follows orders disclosed on October 13 worth Rs 1,174 crore for ±800 kV HVDC and 765 kV lines in India and a 380 kV line in Saudi Arabia.
- Management highlighted that the HVDC win has increased the share of private-developer projects in India and further solidified its leadership in the Middle East.
- Following the October 13 disclosure, the stock rose about 4% intra-day to Rs 893, though it is still down 28% year to date, as Q1 FY26 results showed higher profit, revenue and margins.
