Overview
- The KEA activated the web option-entry portal for verified candidates on Saturday and it will accept ordered college and course preferences until June 30 at 10:00 am.
- A mock seat allotment will be published on July 6 after which candidates can modify options from July 6–9 and KEA will announce final Round 1 allotments on July 15.
- KEA dropped a planned pre-round to keep the schedule on track and advised students taking the NEET 2026 re-exam to prioritise that test and complete KCET option entry afterward.
- Some course seat matrices remain pending—Architecture, Pharmacy, Yoga and Naturopathy are not yet received and the engineering matrix is only a draft—so some allotments may change when final data is uploaded.
- Only candidates who completed document verification and downloaded verification slips can use the portal and KEA published step‑by‑step guidance and a help video urging careful review of colleges, courses and fee structures because preferences determine final allotment under merit and reservation rules.
