• Wyandotte County prosecutors filed first-degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault charges on Oct. 3 against Rene Najera, 21.
• U.S. Marshals arrested Najera on Oct. 6, and he made his first appearance in Wyandotte County District Court on Oct. 8.
• He is being held at the Wyandotte County Jail on a $150,000 bond, according to court and jail records.
• The case stems from a March 26 shooting at S. 16th Street and Ridge Avenue that killed 18-year-old Anderson Murcia-Cartagena and injured two others.
