Overview
- Online access applies only to Hauptuntersuchungen conducted on or after November 25, 2025, with earlier inspections remaining paper-only.
- The report can be retrieved via QR code, an individual link, or manual entry using the report number, the inspection organisation’s key, and an identification number.
- Access does not require an eID or any personal data.
- Holders can share the report with buyers, insurers, or workshops, and revoke that access by changing the access data.
- Developed for the BMDV and operated by the KBA under StVZO §§29/29a and Anlage VIII, the report is available in German and partly in English.
