Kazakh Oil Flows to PCK Resume After Druzhba Pipeline Repair

Rosneft Deutschland reports restored transit volumes from Kazakhstan, with negotiations continuing for deliveries beyond 2025.

Overview

  • Rosneft Deutschland says supplies to the Schwedt refinery will normalize by the end of the week after repairs on the Druzhba line.
  • Missed barrels will be delivered later to compensate for the temporary shortfall, according to company spokesperson Burkhard Woelki.
  • The disruption followed a Ukrainian strike on the Unetscha pump station in Russia’s Bryansk region on 21 August.
  • PCK no longer receives Russian crude and currently relies on about 120,000 tonnes per month of Kazakh oil transiting the Druzhba pipeline.
  • Rosneft Deutschland has been under federal trusteeship since 2022, with the current term running to 10 September and an extension expected.
