Kawhi Leonard's Sister Sentenced to Life in Prison for 2019 Murder of Elderly Woman

Kawhi Leonard's sister, Kimesha Williams, was sentenced to life without parole for killing an 84-year-old woman during a casino robbery in 2019.
Williams and her accomplice, Candace Townsell, were convicted of first-degree murder, robbery, and elder abuse.
The victim, Afaf Assad, was found unconscious in a casino bathroom with a cracked skull and died four days later.
Williams denied killing Assad but was identified by a witness and security footage.
Assad's daughter gave a victim impact statement asking the court to hold those responsible accountable for the heinous act.
