Kawasaki Launches 2026 Ninja ZX-10R in India With Price Hike and Lower Output

Shoppers face a choice between discounted 2025 inventory versus a pricier 2026 iteration with unchanged hardware.

Overview

  • Kawasaki priced the 2026 Ninja ZX-10R at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom), a Rs 99,000 increase over the 2025 model.
  • The updated bike is quoted at about 193 bhp and 112 Nm, roughly 7 hp and 2.9 Nm lower than the 2025 version in usable conditions.
  • Core mechanicals carry over, including the 999 cc inline-four, Showa BFF forks, Showa BFRC rear shock, dual 330 mm front discs, and a 220 mm rear disc.
  • The equipment list retains riding modes, launch control, traction and engine-brake control, cruise control, a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, a bi-directional quickshifter, and an Ohlins electronic steering damper.
  • The 2025 ZX-10R remains listed at a lower price, with media reports of limited-time dealer discounts up to Rs 1.5 lakh and suggestions of possible price changes after September 22.
