• I. Schroeder KG and Kaufland launched the recall on June 5 for 360 g jars of “K Bio Zarter Gemüsemais” after potential glass shards were detected.
• Jars with best-before dates of September 15, 18 and 19, 2027 are included in the recall.
• Consumers should not consume the product and can return it at any Kaufland store for a full refund without needing a receipt.
• This is the second recall of the same corn product this year following a similar withdrawal in February.
• Before being pulled, the affected jars were sold nationwide across all 16 German federal states.
