Katy Perry Joins All-Female Blue Origin Spaceflight Led by Lauren Sánchez

Jeff Bezos' partner Lauren Sánchez will lead a group of five women, including Katy Perry, on a suborbital spaceflight this spring with Blue Origin.

Lauren Sánchez, partner of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, will lead an all-female crew on a Blue Origin spaceflight scheduled for spring 2025.
The group includes pop star Katy Perry, TV host Gayle King, scientists Aisha Bowe and Amanda Nguyen, and entrepreneur Kerianne Flynn.
The Blue Origin flight will use the New Shepard rocket, which operates autonomously and reaches approximately 100 kilometers above Earth for a brief experience of weightlessness.
Blue Origin has conducted ten successful spaceflights since 2021, previously carrying notable figures like William Shatner, known for his role as Captain Kirk in 'Star Trek.'
The company aims to expand its space tourism offerings and compete with SpaceX in the commercial spaceflight industry.
