- Katy ISD received about $50 million from House Bill 2 and allocated $29 million of it to teacher salary increases, supplementing local operating funds.
- First- and second-year teachers will receive a $2,500 raise funded by the district’s general operating budget.
- Teachers with three to four years of experience will receive a $2,500 raise funded by House Bill 2; those with five or more years will receive a $5,000 increase under the same program.
