Overview
- Christopher Lopez, 50, died from a gunshot wound to the face, and Trinette Rayson-Lopez, 50, was shot twice in the head with an additional wound to the left hand, according to the county forensic office.
- Deputies responded just before 6 a.m. Monday to a home on Bent Springs Lane near Clay Road in west Harris County after a 911 call reported both victims were beyond help.
- Both victims were found downstairs, one near the main living area and the other near the kitchen, and they were pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving attempts by deputies and EMS.
