• Erin Cressida Wilson’s Globe-commissioned adaptation provides a fresh take on Ibsen’s 1891 drama.
• Performances are scheduled Feb. 7–Mar. 8, 2026, with opening night on Feb. 12 at the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in Balboa Park.
• Artistic director Barry Edelstein, who previously directed Holmes in the 2023 Off-Broadway production of The Wanderers, will helm the revival.
• Subscriptions for the production are open now and single-ticket sale dates will be announced in the coming months.
• The staging is backed by the Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Fund with additional support from the City of San Diego and the Theodor and Audrey Geisel Fund.
