Kathryn Newton Joins Cast of 'Ready or Not' Sequel Directed by Radio Silence

The Marvel star will collaborate again with the team behind the 2019 horror-comedy hit, alongside returning lead Samara Weaving.

Kathryn Newton, known for her role in the MCU's 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,' has been cast in the sequel to 'Ready or Not.'
Samara Weaving will reprise her role from the original 2019 film, which became a cult hit for its blend of horror, comedy, and social commentary.
The sequel will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, collectively known as Radio Silence, who also helmed the first film.
Original screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy are returning to write the sequel, which is being developed by Searchlight Pictures.
While plot details remain undisclosed, production is expected to begin soon, with the sequel aiming to expand the universe established in the original.
