Kate McKinnon and Jemaine Clement Join Cast of Minecraft Movie

Kate McKinnon and Jemaine Clement have joined the cast of the upcoming Minecraft movie, which is currently being filmed in New Zealand.
The movie, directed by Jared Hess, also stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen.
The film is based on the popular 2011 sandbox game Minecraft, which has no inherent storyline, leaving much speculation about the plot of the movie.
McKinnon is known for her work on Saturday Night Live and recently starred in the blockbuster Barbie, while Clement is known for his roles on Flight of the Conchords and What We Do in the Shadows.
The Minecraft movie is set to be released on April 4, 2025.
