Overview

• Hudson discovered her passion for acting at age 11 after spending time on her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell’s film sets and even won an early role that her mother declined.
• At 16, she auditioned for her stepfather’s 1996 film Escape from L.A. but turned it down to ensure her career wouldn’t be pegged to her family name.
• She landed recurring parts on series like Party of Five and EZ Streets before breaking out as Penny Lane in Almost Famous (2000).
• Hudson released her debut album Glorious in May 2024 and has toured her original songs live, most recently at BottleRock in Napa Valley, while keeping up her acting work.
