Kash Patel Sworn in as FBI Director with Girlfriend Alexis Wilkins by His Side

Indian-American Kash Patel becomes the ninth FBI director, with the oath taken on the Bhagavad Gita and attended by family and country singer Alexis Wilkins.

Kash Patel, born to Gujarati parents in New York, was sworn in as the ninth director of the FBI on February 21, 2025, by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, with Patel taking the oath on the Bhagavad Gita.
Alexis Wilkins, a country singer and press secretary for Republican Abraham Hamade, attended the ceremony alongside Patel's family and other dignitaries.
Wilkins, known for her advocacy for veterans and contributions to conservative media, has been dating Patel since early 2023 after meeting at a conservative event.
Prominent figures, including former President Donald Trump’s advisor Alina Habba and Special Presidential Envoy Ric Grenell, were also present at the event.
