Karun Nair Returns to Karnataka, Named in Ranji Opener Squad

Karnataka named Karun Nair in a 15-man squad for the Ranji Trophy opener against Saurashtra in Rajkot on October 15.
Mayank Agarwal remains captain as the state confirmed its leadership and core for the first round.
Selectors included newcomers Mohsin Khan, Kruthik Krishna and Shikhar Shetty alongside established regulars.
Nair rejoined after two seasons with Vidarbha, where he contributed to their 2024–25 Ranji Trophy title run.
Separately, Anvay Dravid will captain Karnataka in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy in Dehradun from October 9 to 17 after topping the state’s scoring in the last edition.
