Overview
- Karnataka will submit a revised Detailed Project Report updating 2025–26 costs and detailing forest submergence, replacing the 2018–19-rate document.
- Deputy CM D. K. Shivakumar’s office clarified the earlier DPR was not rejected or appraised and that only a revision is being readied for submission.
- A project office has opened at Harobele, with new offices for the Chief Engineer and Chief Conservator of Forests planned at Ramanagara and staffing to follow.
