Overview
- The government will submit a recovery and reconstruction memorandum to the Centre seeking Rs 1,545.23 crore under the NDRF, which the minister said is the state's first such request focused on infrastructure.
- A Rs 2,296.57 crore package for Bengaluru was approved, allocating Rs 1,241.57 crore to asphalt main and sub-main roads and Rs 1,055 crore for ward-level and basic infrastructure across five Greater Bengaluru Authority corporations.
- Departments were directed to issue short-term tenders and obtain tender and administrative approvals in a single step to speed implementation.
