Overview
- Manufacturing has the strongest conversion, with ₹3.22 lakh crore realised of ₹5.66 lakh crore in commitments for a 58% rate.
- Renewable energy has seen ₹1.41 lakh crore materialised of ₹4.25 lakh crore, while infrastructure trails with ₹8,500 crore of ₹45,000 crore.
- The state says a fully digital single-window now handles applications, land allotment and statutory clearances through 150+ services across 30+ departments.
- Nearly half of all proposals, and about 60% in manufacturing, have been routed through Karnataka Udyog Mitra.
- Active proposals cited by the minister include Silfex (₹9,300 crore), Suzlon (₹12,032 crore, Vijayapura), Tata Power (₹8,134 crore), Jindal Steel (₹7,000 crore, Vijayanagar), UltraTech (₹4,819 crore, Kalaburagi), Dalmia (₹6,020 crore, Belagavi), Volvo (₹1,251 crore, Hosakote), Havells (₹710 crore), TASL (₹500 crore, Vemagal) and Safran (₹250 crore).
