Karnataka Raises Vijayapura Airport Budget to ₹618.75 Crore to Support Airbus A320 Flights

  • Officials said the Chief Secretary will review the revised plan as environmental concerns were discussed, with periodic oversight by the Union Civil Aviation Ministry and AAI.
  • The Cabinet also cleared three 50 tpd bio-CNG plants at APMCs in Dasanapura, Kolar, and Mysuru under PPP, approved 10 prison call-blocking towers at a cost of ₹16.75 crore, declined an ordinance on ballot-paper use after SEC consultation, and announced mandatory promotion training rules for state employees.
