- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated Kalaloka at Kempegowda International Airport’s Terminal 2 on November 11.
- The domestic-bay store spans 132 square metres and is designed to reflect Karnataka’s culture and heritage.
- Officials said a second outlet is set to open in the international departure area, covering about 140 square metres.
- The retail space brings together 45 GI‑certified products, including Mysore sandal soap, Mysuru silk, Channapatna toys, Bidriware, coffee, and handloom goods.
- State-backed entities KSDL, Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation, KSIC, LIDKAR, and the Coffee Board are supporting the initiative.
