Karnataka Launches ₹600-Crore DeepTech Drive as Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 Sets ‘Futurise’ Focus

Karnataka pairs targeted funds plus new incubators with a push for VC co-investment that could take the capital pool toward ₹1,000 crore.

  • The ₹600 crore package includes ₹150 crore for a DeepTech Elevate Fund, ₹80 crore for Elevate Beyond Bengaluru, ₹75 crore via KITVEN, ₹48 crore for new incubators at IIT/IIIT Dharwad and Kalaburagi, and ₹110 crore for higher-education incubators across 11 institutions.
  • Organisers project more than 500 speakers, 20,000 delegates, 1,000 exhibitors and about 50,000 visitors from over 60 countries.
  • Officials say discussions are underway with venture firms on a joint fund of up to ₹1,000 crore and on private matching commitments, with potential announcements expected before the summit.
