Karnataka Declares 2nd PUC Results as Pass Rate Jumps to 86.48%

The lower pass mark of 30 percent coincides with a sharp rise in the success rate.

  • KSEAB, which published the Class 12 results Thursday at 3 pm, enabled provisional mark cards on karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, and DigiLocker, with scores also sent on WhatsApp and SMS.
  • The overall pass rate stands at 86.48 percent, with Science at 91.69 percent, Commerce at 88.04 percent, and Arts at 72.86 percent.
  • The board reduced the per‑subject pass threshold to 30 percent while keeping a 33 percent overall requirement, a shift designed to ease pressure on students.
  • Roughly 7.10 lakh candidates from 5,174 PU colleges sat exams held from February 28 to March 17 at 1,217 centers, and students can also get results by texting KAR12 to 56263.
  • KSEAB postponed the April 7 release to verify district data and now offers revaluation and improvement options through Exam 2 and Exam 3, with detailed schedules to follow.
