Siddaramaiah has denied any wrongdoing and refused to resign, attributing the case to political vendetta orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The Karnataka government has withdrawn general consent for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to operate in the state, citing concerns about the federal agency's bias.
Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, have rallied in support of Siddaramaiah, while BJP leaders continue to demand his resignation.
