Overview
- The National Medical Commission approved 422 of the 572 postgraduate seats requested by the state for the 2025–26 academic year.
- Government college PG intake rises to 2,116 from 1,694 last year, leaving 150 requested seats still not cleared.
- New postgraduate slots span more than 20 departments across pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical disciplines, including pediatrics and anaesthesiology.
