Karen Allen 'Disappointed' In Reduced Role for Marion Ravenwood in Final 'Indiana Jones' Film

Karen Allen admitted she wished her character Marion Ravenwood had a larger part in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Changes to the script after Steven Spielberg left the project resulted in Allen's role being scaled back.
The character of Mutt Williams, played by Shia LaBeouf, does not appear in the new film and is said to have died in the Vietnam War off-screen.
Allen's character is reunited with Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones at the end of the movie after years of estrangement following their son's death.
Allen enjoyed working with Ford again but lamented that her role was not as substantial as in previous films.
