Overview

  • Drift was released on July 2 with seven songs, featuring lead track Touch alongside B-sides Betcha, Before We Go, Top Down and Pivot plus two instrumentals.
  • The music video for Touch received an R rating from the Korea Media Rating Board for its explicit choreography and provocative visuals.
  • All four members, led by BM’s composition and J.Seph’s lyricism, collaborated on production and lyrics to foreground the group’s unapologetic, sexy image.
  • Touch reinterprets a Y2K aesthetic with cool percussion, string sources and weighty synths, marking a return to KARD’s high-energy sound after softer recent releases.
  • KARD will hold its first Korean concert in nearly five years on July 19 at Yes24 Wanderloch Hall in Seoul as the home leg of its Drift world tour.
