  • Traffic police activated diversions via NIPA toward Aladin Park and redirected vehicles from Sir Syed University to Ghaziabad Road, while the Safari Park–Hasan Square route remains open.
  • Authorities also closed the service lane between Aziz Bhatti Park and Federal Urdu University and advised commuters to use helpline 1915 for guidance.
  • Work is proceeding in phases, with Phase 1 covering NIPA to Federal Urdu University and Phase 2 planned from Hasan Square to NIPA, countering reports of a blanket 51‑day shutdown.
