Kanye West Stirs Controversy with Neo-Nazi Band Shirt

The rapper's fashion choice comes on the heels of his recent apology for antisemitic remarks, raising questions about his sincerity.

Kanye West has sparked controversy by wearing a t-shirt featuring Norwegian black metal band BURZUM’s Varg Vikernes, a convicted murderer and neo-Nazi.
This follows recent backlash against West for his antisemitic remarks, for which he issued an apology.
Critics have also speculated that the cover art of West's new album, Vultures, pays tribute to Vikernes, resembling Burzum’s album cover art.
Vikernes was found guilty of burning down numerous Norwegian churches between 1992 and 1993, and was also convicted of first-degree murder and possession of explosives.
While in prison, Vikernes reportedly started the neo-Nazi organization, Norwegian Heathen Front, and continued to promote the ideology after his release.
