Kansas State Athletic Director Gene Taylor Secures Contract Extension Through 2029-30

Taylor's Leadership Has Led to Significant Successes in Football and Basketball, and Major Facility Improvements

Kansas State Athletic Director Gene Taylor has agreed to a contract extension through the 2029-30 season.
Taylor's contract includes a salary of $925,000 per academic year, with a bonus of $250,000 at the end of each of the next four contract years, and $500,000 for the three years following.
Under Taylor's leadership, Kansas State won the Big 12 football title last season and made the Elite Eight in men's basketball.
Taylor was responsible for hiring football coach Chris Klieman and basketball coach Jerome Tang, both of whom have led their teams to significant successes.
Taylor has also spearheaded fundraising efforts resulting in major renovations to the Bill Snyder Family Stadium, a new football practice facility, a new stand-alone arena for volleyball and a training center for the school's Olympic sports programs.
