Kansas City Chiefs Sign Former Pro Bowl Tackle D.J. Humphries

The Chiefs add depth and experience to their offensive line with the signing of the ex-Cardinals left tackle, recently cleared from an ACL injury.

D.J. Humphries, a former first-round draft pick and 2021 Pro Bowler, has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs after being released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this year.
The 30-year-old tackle was medically cleared to return from a torn ACL sustained late last season and will join the Chiefs on a deal worth up to $4.5 million.
Kansas City has faced challenges at the left tackle position this season, with inconsistent performances from younger players such as Wanya Morris and Kingsley Suamataia.
Humphries brings eight years of starting experience, primarily at left tackle, and could provide stability to the Chiefs’ offensive line as they pursue a third consecutive Super Bowl title.
The Chiefs, currently 9-1, will face the Carolina Panthers this Sunday with Humphries expected to bolster their depth at a critical position.
