  • Paul Mbiya, a 6-foot-11, 260-pound center from the Democratic Republic of Congo, committed to Kansas on June 25 after decommitting from NC State on June 18.
  • He averaged 15.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game for ASVEL’s U21 team in France during the 2024-25 season.
  • His 7-foot-7 wingspan and physical profile are expected to enhance Kansas’s frontcourt depth and rim protection next season.
