Kanpur Teachers Arrested for Rape and Blackmail of NEET Aspirant

Two teachers from a prominent coaching center in Kanpur have been detained following allegations of rape and blackmailing a minor preparing for medical entrance exams.

The victim, a minor at the time, moved to Kanpur in 2022 to prepare for the NEET medical entrance exam.
Biology teacher Sahil Siddiqui allegedly drugged and raped the student, recording the act to use as blackmail.
The student was reportedly held captive and sexually assaulted over a six-month period by Siddiqui.
Chemistry teacher Vikas Porwal also allegedly raped the student during this time.
Both teachers have been arrested and face charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
