Kanchanjunga Express to Run With LHB Coaches From November 28, NFR Confirms

- Northeast Frontier Railway said the train’s conventional ICF rake will be replaced by an LHB set starting November 28, 2025, according to CPRO Kapinjal Kishore Sharma.
- The new composition includes five AC 3-tier coaches, one AC 2-tier coach, nine sleeper-class coaches and four general seating coaches.
- LHB coaches feature an anti-telescopic design that reduces collision impact, enhancing passenger safety.
