Overview
- The crash occurred around 12:15 a.m. at Kitaleba Village near Asili Farm in Kiryandongo District on the Kampala–Gulu Highway.
- Two Isuzu buses from Nile Star Coaches (UBF 614X) and Planet Company (UAM 045V) collided head-on, triggering additional impacts with a Toyota Surf and a Tata lorry.
- Preliminary findings indicate both buses were overtaking in opposite directions when they met head-on, causing a chain reaction of collisions.
