Kami Rita Sherpa Sets Record with 30th Everest Summit

The 54-year-old Nepali climber has scaled the world's highest peak twice this month, highlighting his unparalleled mountaineering career.

Kami Rita Sherpa, 54, reached the summit of Mount Everest for the 30th time, breaking his own record.
His first climb of this season was on May 12, making this his second ascent in just 10 days.
Kami Rita began his mountaineering career in 1994 and has been a key figure in Nepal's climbing community.
In addition to Everest, he has also summited other major peaks including K2, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu.
The climbing season has seen over 450 climbers reach Everest's summit, with hundreds of permits issued by Nepalese authorities.
