• Police received a PCR call around 9:30 pm on Friday about a quarrel inside Southeast Delhi’s Kalkaji Mandir.
• A dispute over distribution of ‘chunni prasad’ escalated into a group assault in which the sewadaar was hit with sticks and fist blows, as captured on CCTV.
• The victim was identified as Yogendra Singh, 35, from Hardoi, who had served at the temple for roughly 14–15 years.
• Locals apprehended one accused at the spot, Atul Pandey, 30, of Dakshinpuri, and handed him over to the police.
