Overview

• The victim, Yogendra Singh, 35, a long-serving volunteer at the southeast Delhi shrine, was attacked after a dispute over chunni prasad.

• An FIR citing BNS Sections 103(1) (murder) and 3(5) (common intention) was registered at the Kalkaji police station.
• Locals apprehended Atul Pandey, 30, at the scene; police later arrested Mohan alias Bhura, 19, Kuldeep Bidhuri, 20, Nitin Pandey, 26, and Anil Kumar, 55, who is accused of harbouring an offender.
